5 YEAR OLD BEAR AVAILABLE TO ADOPT - LIVERPOOL

Bear is 5 years old ..............

* Bear could possibly be homed with a laid back female but proper introductions would need to be done, preferably the only dog though.

* ABSOLUTELY NO CATS

* No children he is just too big and boisterous to be around them, never lived with one.

Bear is 5 years old , sadly for the first 2 years of his life Bear was used for dog fighting, he does have some scarring on his legs and on his head from this, he was then taken in by his present owner, when he got him he was in university but now works up to anything 15 hour shifts, much too long for Bear to be left on his own. Bear is a beautiful loving boy that loves human interaction, he does not have toys as he is just not interested in them. Bear either sleeps on the sofa or on his owners bed , he has been known to destroy dog beds (haha knows what he prefers) but has never destroyed any furniture. His recall is good and he walks well once he has settled down, if he does meet an other dog he will cry til it has passed, but he gets on great with his owners mum's female staffy. He is house trained but if you wanted to crate him i think this would be difficult as he is a very big dog.

His owner has recently vaccinated him and treated him for fleas and worms.

18 mth old Bear available to adopt in Northamptonshire

Bear is an 18 mth old female English Mastiff living in Northamptonshire.

* She can be homed with children aged 7 years upwards

* Could be rehomed with a dog around her size

* unknown around cats would advise a cat free home because of this

* walks well on lead without pulling

* is wary of strangers will bark.

Bear is a beautiful friendly girl, whom the carers at the kennels she is currently residing in speak very highly and fondly of , there has never been an issue around other dogs during her stay. Bear is in here due to having a fight with the resident Jack Russell at her home, sadly there were some injuries that were serious, it is thought this incident was not entirely her fault but could be down to her only just being spayed and the play getting too boisterous at a time where she is unsettled and probably in pain. The kennels know her and her fellow house mates well due to them staying there before.  Her assessor has said she is extremely affectionate and gentle, but she does need some training. We will be considering homes with larger breed dogs but not small breeds but this will be down to proper introductions first.  She is quite reserved and wary of strangers but the kennels suggested they could put her on a long lead in their grassy area so a potential adopter armed with treats could simply sit in the sun and let her approach in her own time, She rarely barks is quiet at night and very clean that while some dogs will mess in their night sleeping area she waits until she is let out and only ever goes in the exercise yard so we are certain she’s housetrained, kennel staff are able to touch her anywhere head, tail, paws, mouth, abdomen. She allowed the assessor to tickle her under the chin. The assessor watched her walk on a lead and she was fine. No pulling or holding back and this has generally been the kennel staff's  experience of her. She looks in excellent physical condition. Not under or overweight moulting a bit due to the heat. Eats anything so mainly has kibble. No aggression around eating the kennel staff  can go in and take her bowl or put a hand in it and she lets them.

When living at home she lived with 3 children aged 7 to 15 so we would consider families with children of these ages.

We would consider homes with resident dogs of similar size to Bear but no small breeds, this is erring on the side of caution as anyone that knows her says she would probably never attack again, but they were playing boisterously when she should of been on crate rest, very tender still . Obviously before an adoption could take place proper introductions MUST be done, also we would prefer if you could visit her a few times or have time to spend getting to know her due to her wariness around strangers .

2 year old Archie available to adopt in Norwich

2 year old Archie is looking for a forever home

* lovely friendly boy

* good on lead but strong

* house and crate trained

* dog friendly

* no cats

Meet gorgeous Archie , he needs a home where either the owner does not work or works for home, he has anxiety and will get upset if you go upstairs and leave him, there may be ways of working with him on this, he is crate trained but can only have blankets in there as he will shred a duvet or bed when anxious, when left he will cry for a short while then lay down and sleep.

This is the only issue with Archie, he is dog friendly and could live with another dog if introduced correctly, no cats though he will chase these ...

Archie could be homed with teenage children, the only reason we are saying no to younger is because he is super friendly and bouncy and does like to jump up to greet you.

He walks well on the lead .

If you would be interested in giving Archie a forever home please either pm on the rescue page or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ....................
